First Freelance Illustration

This is the first freelance illustration I've ever done. You can see it in issue 11 of Kobold Quarterly. If you can find the magazine, that is. It's not common.
I totally lucked out on the subject matter the AD required for this illustration!:)

Love the design and the anatomy of the creature is superb. I love the little hand shape to the end of the tentacles and the general design of the arms/hands. Good way to start off your freelance career

Mike- Thanks, man! The arms and tentacles are actually based off of lampreys and hagfish, respectively.
robb- Thanks! Maybe I'll make a sculpture of it! I've been wanting to do some creature sculpts anyway.
