Carlo mentioned i didin't have anything "scary" in my portfolio, heres an attempt at something more horror based. Still wrapping this up, should have Phase 2 done sometime next week.
Would that Carlo you mentioned be Carlo Arellano? I can definitely see a bit of his influence in this creature design. Great use of shapes--lots of nice triangles directing the eye around--and nice textures!

It's an ALIEN QUEEN crab! I love it! You should do even more horror-based! Let this simply be a warm-up! Highly satisfying technique.
