Aztec Crocodile Bull$#*&

I took a crappy CCG assignment so I could play around with some new digital stuff I learned watching a Gnomon DVD.  Here's the finished piece. Designwise a little boring, but I was kind of constrained by the assignment.  It was fun just to play around with some new techniques, though.

Is this for warhammer? I notice the black and white checker pattern from the ork side of things.

and...what gnomon dvd did you watch because oh god i want paint like this :)

I think this is a great piece- interesting stuff too look at everywhere yet keeping a strong focus.

It's a digital speed painting one by David Levy. It was pretty sweet. A lot of you guys who have in house concepting jobs, or went to a good school probably know most of the stuff on there.

I'd like to watch more of those but they're so damn expensive. (Pirate Bay here I come).
