I very much like the general look of this guy, and especially appreciate his face + horns... But, really, mainly, I just love how ridiculously, outlandishly, absurdly, cartoonishly HUUUUUGE that frikkin axe is.

If not you may want to check out starcraft 2's colossus unit, and send them a letter letting them know where they can send the check. Because it looks very close to your sketch for old game designs
