Nice studies! You captured the pose, structure, and character of each animal quite well, I think.
I especially enjoy the rhinoceros studies. Indian rhinos are startlingly large in person, aren't they?

I agree with Moai, the gesture of the studies here are really great! The Rhinos are defiantly my fave.

Thanks :] I think I actually had the most fun doing the Rhino's too.

Moai: they're pretty large yeh, though we could only view them from a bit of a distance in the zoo. They're perfect to draw though, since they don't really move a lot unlike most other animals we tried to capture ;]

Primates are the worst when it comes to this, I've found. Lemurs especially. Once I was observing a group of over half a dozen lemurs, and they were all hopping around like crazy (though at any given time at least one was stopping to poop;what are they feeding those guys?). I did have a spider monkey sit down like a proper gentleman in front of me once, though.

Across the East London skyline, armies of cranes are busy assembling industrial Coach Outletjigsaw pieces into seductively curved OlympicCoach Outlet stadia. But a mere javelin's throw away from this shiny modern Coach Outletmetropolis sits the Queen's Head, an aging East End pub, which, judging by the interior, Chanel Handbagshasn't changed much since London last hosted the Olympics in 1948. Once a popularCoach Outlet haunt for locals, the Queen's Head has been hemorrhaging drinkers and profits in Chanel Bagsrecent years, so landlord Bill Sinefield, who has 20 years' experience in the trade, Coach Factory Outletwas brought in by the owners in a last-ditch attempt to save the place from Coach Outlet Onlineclosure. Despite introducing drink deals and live-music nights, Sinefield is still Coach Outletstruggling to bring in customers. He reluctantly admits Coach Outletthat next summer, when the Olympics go to London, could be make or Louis Vuitton Bagsbreak for the Queen's Head. "You can't just build your business around the Games, Coach Factory Outletbut we are certainly in need of the boost," says Sinefield. "Times are pretty Louis Vuitton Bagstough at the moment."The story of the Queen's Head will resonate with pub owners Coach Factory Storeacross the U.K. What was once a cornerstone of British society has been slowly Coach Outletcrumbling since the 1980s, and the recessionCoach Factory Outlet has many predicting the death of the British pub. In the Coach Outlet Storefirst half of 2011, around 14 pubs were closing each week (in 2009, in the Coach Factory Outletimmediate wake of the financial crisis, the pub trade was seeing 52 casualties a week).Coach Outlet The 2007 smoking ban, the availability of cheapChanel Bags supermarket booze and a beer tax that has risen by 35% since 2008 have Chanel Bagsled many publicans to lay the blame solely at the feetLouis Vuitton of government. Then in November, the government announced that it Coach Factory Storewould not take any action over the beer tie, a controversial contract that forces Chanel Handbagslandlords to buy expensive beer from the company Coach Outletthat owns their premises, a decision described by one union as a Chanel Bags"disaster for the pub industry." With a backdrop this bleak Louis Vuittonit's little wonder London's 9,000 landlords are hoping Coach Factory Onlinefor an Olympic payday. But if they want to gain from the Coach OutletGames, they'll need to find a way to pull tourists away from the big event. When deciding how to Chanel Bagsquench the thirst of the 11.8 million people expected Coach Outletto descend upon London for the Olympics, organizers overlooked Louis Vuitton BagsBritain's 900 breweries and awarded exclusive beer rights to Heineken, meaning the Coach Factory OutletDutch brewer will be the sole supplier of beer and cider in all Olympic venues. Chanel BagsOfficials defended the decision by pointing out that Heineken's U.K. operating company Coach Factoryis based in Edinburgh, but the country's pub community feels betrayed by the loss of the chance to promote British pub culture to hordes of tourists.
