Beholder and Dragon

The beholder is a new WIP I am still picking away at little by little between client jobs. The dragon is an older piece from this year. Both are personal portfolio pieces. Beholders are trademarked by Wizards of the Coast.

Yep the beholder is pretty cool. I like way you did the skin, though I got a feeling the eyes could use a bit more..dunno, shine or depth. I like it though :]

The dragon's compositon and layout is nice too, but you might want to try out some more experimentation with color on it maybe? There a lot of green vs. yellow going on on the body and background, but the rock and horns really stand out since they don't have this colorcontrast going on as strong as the rest of the piece.

Hi there,

your alien beholder fits with a tattoo I wanna have done on me, just for me, I'm adding elements to it though (kanji words), would you be so kind as to allow me so? I can tell the tattoo guy to not display the result in his shop without problems and it's really just a tattoo that has a story for me, so it's nowhere close to commercial use or else. What do you say?
