lovely work,
very impressive,
a bit of a brom feel about it, in the colour choices,
would love to see more of your work.
[ *Nom Nom Nom* ]
Brom has always been a favourite of mine, he has no doubt been an influence over the years :)
Hey William - Love your work!!
They're both cool, I've seen them before.. that head of the demon below is really hot man, love it.
Wow! Beautiful job! The lighting is great and I really like the hardware you used on the demon up top. Great sense of atmosphere in both of these.
Inspiring!
so impressive.
Great to have you here, and i'm dying to see more of these!
i agree with martin, remind me of Brom's painting! Love it man :)
Great~!! I saw your works in deviantart
Beautiful work James! Any chance we could see more details of the second demon? Love the details on his jaw and skin.
Thanks for all the kind words :) I've added a detail shot of the second piece ( hope it's not too big..)
They're so hightly detailed and rendered so well. I love your work.
Thank you for the bigger shot! Love it! The details are superb. Have you use textures to add some more "dirt" and details or everything is painted?
I don't tend to use textures or texture brushes, I usually just go over an area a few times until it looks sufficiently grimy.
Thanks for the reply.
Now I am even more impressed. :D
Oh the fleshy mechanical goodness. Great piece man. Lots to be learned from this one. Thanks for posting James. Now bring some more please. :D
Speaking of Jakkas, how come you're not posting over here? Just wondering. Love to see what you're into these days.
Stunning work!!!
Wow, James! Those look fantastic. Really great work. What are they for?
Hey Tyler - The are just personal works, just for fun :) I'm trying to make more time to do personal stuff these days.
Very nice !
omg I didn't notice the scratches on the eyes before! Amazing attention to detail!!
Hey David, I don't have much to show. Most of the stuff I could post is quite old :(
Incredible work, James. The lighting and rendering on both is exquisite, and achieves a very strong balance between tight detail and more painterly looseness. The designs are pretty damn sweet also, especially the mechanical modifications to the first demon.
Soooooooooo crazy good.
James! I'm freakishly inspired by this post! You continue to sate my cravings for excellence in art. Great to see you in here bud. :)
Amazing work! I love the attention to detail. And the design on that first demon is freaky!
I would give anything to be anywhere near as good as you, I mean to my friends im pretty good, but this makes my work like like toddlers scribbles. Very nice work
