Hey Mike, great work!
I really like the color scheme and the forms, there is a nice balance on the silhouette.
Not sure about the front pinkish thing, I don't really get what is it for... it's not clear if it's a fang sort of thing connected with the maxilla or else...
Very nice work and thank u very much for sharing your technique, I'm slowly watching the previous sessions :D

Cory - yea.. I didn't get too involved with some things because it was livestream. I will sometimes use more "brush textures" and some other tricks, and obviously look at references but didn't do any of that because of the live session/time.
Davi - you can always go watch the ON DEMAND videos. I'll produce another batch of thumbnails and a finished image from them like this beetle, I'm sure you'll catch me another time.
Loden - thanks, yea not sure what it is either..just an impulsive decoration that came about spontaneously
