Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 8:40 PM bird! birdie! birdie birdie! (I hope you get the reference)
BTW: If you’re thinking “yeah, he put that black “nest” in the foreground because he screwed up the legs,” then I have to say, “no comment.”

If I do more creatures within a week (most likely) I'll just post them as follow ups here instead of spamming the main page. After a week, all bets are off! ;)

OK as promised, I'm not starting a new post in the interest of keeping myself from being labeled a spammer. Here's "God of Chaos." He's serving a few purposes right now:
1. This sketch is partially a result of a concept request for a short film someone is trying to make in the UK. The request was combining elements of 2 of my earlier sketches. This one and this one.
2. I was planning on revisiting the "running" figure anyway.
3. I needed a subject for my end-of-month painting. This solves that goal and this... my bi-weekly sketch.
4. This sketch might prove a great alternative depiction of the God of Chaos for part of a comic I started writing with friends a bajillion years ago. This was my first attempt. Here is another.

this is no doubt my favorite i've seen from you in awhile man.
The way you handed that black claw and the eye with white(blue) highlights really pops it out and gives it some great depth.
Soooooo awesome!
Thanks Davi. :) I actually was disappointed in the scan, but I'm glad it came through. It stands out among others in the physical sketchbook, so it's nice you think it does here as well. Have another one nearly completed.
:D Thanks Kray.
If spam looks like this, then please spam the heck out of us ;-) Brilliant work as usual. I love this stuff.
f'ing love it man. I remember those sketches :)
This one no doubt is the best in my eyes.
keep em coming!
