Introduction!

Hi everyone! 

My name is Tobias Kwan and I'm currently a concept artist at Ready At Dawn studios, been there for over a year now.

Thanks guys! Davi, not much background or thought put into this really, it started off as a christmas-themed piece but soon other ideas kind of took hold haha.

This piece has me in awe. I'm not sure if you were going for this, but the character reminds me of God if He were carrying the whale that swallowed Jonah. Even though the large figure has hollow eyes, he doesn't frighten me; in fact he looks sad, maybe even in mourning. I haven't seen many pieces of art that have evoked this kind of feeling for me, but if I had to pick my favorite illustration for 2010, this would be it.

This really is just brilliant. I could spend all day staring at this.
