That's awesome! I like the shape of his body and the hint of a face on his belly/hips.

The legs look a little too thin to carry his weight though. I like how they match his arms but I keep expecting him to snap a bone as soon as he makes one step.

Awesomely awesome design! Love the "crown" of the head and the torso! I know this is still WIP, but I have an interesting suggestion for how you can improve the creature's balance without changing the leg design- add a boney "crutch" to his patella. One thing I would love to see is more of the crown element executed in the design, and this would be one option of adding more of that element. There is some indication of that boney, spikey element in the ribs, but I think having it occur one more time would be a nice touch and add a little bit extra intrigue and unusualness to the design. =^)

Basically, have a bone, which could be spiked as well like the crown is, coming down directly from the patella and hitting the ground. This will add support for his center of gravity in my opinion without having to change the leg design.

This creature though could quite easily move like a Gorilla in which it relies mostly on its arms for support- just as good of a solution in my opinion, it really depends on where you want to go with this, which I'm sure you already have a plan. Afterall, this is a fantasy creature and you can do a lot with it that's less conventional. He could be a demon which is very hollow inside and therefore not have an extraordinary amount of weight. Or magic- magic always works to explain things ;^)

Your work is incredibly inspiring, and I am hopeful that my respect for it is well indicated with this suggestion on your creature. I know whatever the end result is, this will be, and already looks spectacular. =^)

You're right, the legs are a bit thin. I thought i should add some spikes to them as well and beef them up a little bit.
I'll keep all the suggestions in mind as it's still a work in proggress ;)
