Creepy Parasite Spider thing

I’m a huge fan of creepy crawlies of all shapes and sizes and I thought I’d try and combine elements of all the ones that I find creepy (the number one being a Wichita grub) and this is what I came up with.

I can’t stand parasites however, they scare the crap out of me so I thought it would be good to incorporate that element into the design.

let me know what you think, hope you like it.

Beautiful rendering (love the intense red towards its mouth, really makes it menacing), and I love the organic component that it uses to transport itself to its intended prey. Does it grow the component itself or maybe is it another creatures that it has hollowed out for its own use? I'd love to see this life cycle developed even further, maybe show off what it does when it reaches its host? i.e. if it burrows under the skin to lay eggs or latches on and sucks blood for nourishment, or maybe it unleashes an acidic bile from the pores along its midsection to break down flesh into a liquid that it can ingest easily via an inner proboscis?

So many possibilities, gotta love parasites =^)

Thanks for sharing your work! =^)

GAWD, I don't know what orifice it enters through....
But it would be bad in any scenario.
