The Hare, the Knight, and the top Caterpillar are my faves. Gorgeous rendering technique, and seem conceptually consistent with the mythology of the story. The Jabberwocky is nice enough -- very well done, but just looks like a standard dragon to me (plus an extra pair of arms, I guess). The work on the body of that top Caterpillar is just delicious, everything about the Hare picture is beautiful and jittery, and the Red Knight is just Cool.

I was just thinking about your work yesterday and how much it has inspired me, taught me, and motivated me to push myself forward as a digital painter, as an artist overall, and as a thinker with how I can push my ideas further- and here you are, on one of my favorite sites that I visit nearly every day before I sit down and paint.

I could go on and on about how amazing your work is, but I don't have to- your work more than speaks for itself.

I just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do and for sharing your work, it truly has helped me to push myself further, and it's what I needed to see here tonight.

Are you sure it's not more to do with having your creature designs featured front and center in a big-budget CG-filled 3D IMAX film, and getting to benefit from all the trappings of such? ;)

I think the movie doesn't give your work justice. I watched the movie for CGI... Love the caterpiller during the movie and I love even more now - AMAZING!
Did you do any sketches for the red queen or the cat aswell?
