The Egg Thief

First finished illustration in ages!  I love fantasy creatures -- don't get the chance to paint them nearly often enough.  Griffins always seem to me to be sadly neglected fantasy creatures.  They're seriously cool, but people always go for dragons first.  Dragons are a bit sexier I guess, but griffins deserve a bit of face time too.

Check out link for a process video!

Thanks for looking, everybody.  Hope you enjoy.

Well done entry, thank you for this. I think I will use a similar look with mine. Good to see you are getting some visits here too, but the responses are a little weird. Anyway, cheers mate!

Cheers, everybody! I do certainly plan to do to do more pieces like this one.. was way too fun not to. Will have to see about doing a better video as well. Use Fraps or something --- does anybody know what the best program for screen capture is (if there is a best one)?
