Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:27 PM Hi everyone! Here is one of the sculpts I have been working on, not too far from being finished.
Here I had just started some texturing
Further along with skin texture and some horn placement

Hi Anyhony.
Cool dragon !
The only thing i have to add is that i found his horns to be too small.
This is shaping up nicely! Good job on the teeth, eyes, snout, bony bits, and skin textures! I also dig the neck structure. Is that a little floppy bit on its forehead? Cool... Although the horns are rather distinctive in their way, the symmetry of top and bottom seems out of place, and I sortuv agree with Mauro about them being a bit too slender. Something... They're also almost more tendril-shaped than horn-shaped and don't seem to unify the head. Hmm...
Oh, I meant to also mention how much I like this pulled-in crouch of a pose and your folding decisions in the wings, but THE thing that I most love about this guy is how big those claws are and how convincingly they seem to be gripping the outcrop!
[ *ALSO, you should include some close-ups of the head for us, because it looks like you've got an invigorating complex of lip and teeth, but it's all too blurry to enjoy in these shots. ]
Very nice posture and skin-folding!
Thanks guys!
Mauro and William, I want to thank you for making me think twice about those horns. I was not fully happy with them from the start, so I moveed on to sculpt the rest--figuring I would come back since they are just placed in. So I took them off, started with a new idea and now I am really much happier with his new look.
William, I will take some closeups of his head and post them here soon, sporting new horn and skull structure.
Thanks again!!
Excellent!
