Old Model, new render
Mauro D'Elia Matheus -- Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:53 AM This is a werebat, a old model of mine. Just testing new model/render pipeline, so i can reach the results fast, and so use the 3d to sell the concept of a monster or character.

Awesome! That closeup of his face has a sweet dramatic punch, especially when it's the first image you see when opening this blog, as it is now. Very nice touch with the blood-slurping tongue tube!

That looks great! Your pipestreamlining is gathering steam, I'd say. That nose knows, the shoulders are boulders, those ears are dear, the eyes have "it", that chest is the best, the feet are neat, and the wings are the thing!
The tongue seems a bit tacked on to me... It'd be firm as a worm, but here I fear it is a bit silly, really.
