Showing the process of 3 rough thumbnails that were mirrored and symmetrical, then a rough 3/4 view produced from the thumbnail chosen. Finally.. the image is brought to full detail with slight modifications.
This was a bit of a quick demonstration on how silhouette thumbnails can be useful in producing a couple of quick ideas and then bringing it to a final concept without much hassle of knowing where the idea would go to begin with. The only reference used was a photo of a crab claw, after the rough silhouette was laid out.
