That claw is pretty. Describe your materials again for me? Did you say you're using alcohol to activate a powdered graphite or something? I've gotta get to the bottom of this, because I've been using mechanical pencil a lot recently and I need to know how you are producing this quality, because what I'm doing does not contain it and it needs to.

William...this one is just putting pencil to paper, finding some texture with the side of the lead then either smoothing it with a bit of pointilism or erasing lighter values and working them over. Regular medium surface strathmore 400 series paper and mostly tombow 4b pencils.
The graphite power is for when i don't want to work off a white ground.
