San Diego Comic Con- New creature work...

Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 6:18 PM Hello,
Its been awhile since I have last posted and finally have some new work to share.
Next week is the San Diego Comic Con! It came up fast and wanted to see who is going to the show. I've secured a space and can be located at Jason Felix Studios- Booth #5005. I'm in the 'Illustrators' section of the show which happens to be conveniently located next to the Artist Alley as well.
I'm exhibiting a new round of original art, a monster sketchbook, a commissioned sculpture(by Simon Lee) that I designed JUST for the show, and plenty of other things.
Attached is a preview of the new monster sketchbook and also the sculpture that I commissioned(which is insanely amazing). Both the new sketchbook and sculptures will be for sale.
Please stop by and looking forward to the event!
-Jason

Love that sculpt, cool design, and a great sculpure. What's the deal with these odd comments?
Will your new book be available outside of SDCC? I'd like to score a copy.
Ryan---> Glad you dig it. I'm going to try and paint one up and see what happens!
Newton---> Absolutely! Please visit my site and send over an email. I'll be happy to send one over after the Comic Con has passed.
Nice design, Jason!
I think I rather prefer your concept painting over the sculpt -- mind you I'm a huge Simon Lee fan, and that's a pleasing-enough version -- but in your pic there're some things about the rhythms of soft curves and harder edges and stories that the forms are telling that are missing or less intriguing in spiderzero's interpretation.
So anyways, good job. :)
BRAVO!
