"Sashimi"

This is my most recently completed sculpture. The idea was based on old ukiyo-e prints from Japan, especially the little octopus the samurai creature is holding.

I haven't posted in a long, long while, and am very confused with how to leave text for my image...so I am putting it here in the comments section! This is my most recently completed sculpture. The idea was based on old ukiyo-e prints from Japan, especially the little octopus the samurai creature is holding.

David, you have once again proven your esteemed prowess. This is one of the best sculpture's I've ever seen. No joke. Character, sliminess, and downright personality is definitely part of your daily regimen. Well done. Keep inspiring the rest of us my friend.
