Lost in Darkness and Distance

Just finished this sculpture/portrait of the Frankenstein Monster for an art book on the subject of Mary Shelly's creation. I have elements of some classic renditions of the character here, but chose to play up the hideous nature of the creature's features referred to often in the book. I even thought this might be the creatures appearance many years after the conclusion of the novel, his flesh ravaged by the arctic cold.
